The sight of four adorable puppies trapped in suffocating tar under the scorching sun captured global attention when the news broke in late April. The distressing scene left animal activists shocked and heartbroken but also fueled their determination to continue fighting against those who harm innocent animals. It’s heartbreaking to think that someone could have intentionally left four innocent puppies to suffer a slow, painful death by covering them in tar under the scorching sun. Thankfully, the Sky Animal Rights Foundation came to their rescue before things got any worse. It just goes to show that even animals have their own guardian angels looking out for them.
Upon discovery, the puppies were in a serious state of health due to their exposure to tar. This sticky, pungent substance has a dark hue and can easily stick to an animal’s fur, making it extremely painful to remove without proper care. Fortunately, all the puppies received treatment from a veterinarian based in Isai, located in the northeastern region of Romania. Despite this, one of the puppies faced a more challenging situation as the tar had covered its left eye, nose, and mouth. The veterinarian noted that an animal surveillance facility would be very beneficial in such situations.
Romania is known for having a large population of stray dogs, but unfortunately, it seems that the country isn’t doing much to help the situation. In fact, there have been rumors about an officer who went off to investigate cases of abandoned dogs. However, it’s important to remember that the lives of these pups are just as real as any other living creature.
Given the current circumstances, Catalin Pavaliu, founder of the Sky Animal Rights Foundation, has taken a stand in favour of vulnerable animals. According to him, there has been an increase in cases of animal cruelty in the area, suggesting that someone might be committing such acts intentionally and deceitfully. However, he believes that justice will ultimately fail.
